Abstract
Piedmont, Olsen, Hensley, formerly Olsen Associates, was acquired by ARCADIS in 1996.
ARCADIS is an international company that provides consultancy, design, engineering
and management services in the fields of infrastructure, water, environment, and buildings.
The collection consists of negatives and prints of various water and power plants,
water towers, dams, sewage treatment facilities, and sites throughout North Carolina.

Collection Overview
The collection consists of approximately 434 photographic negatives and prints of various water and power plants, water towers, dams, sewage treatment facilities, and sites throughout North Carolina. The cities and towns range from Burlington to Wilson, and at the end of the collection are several groups of unidentified plants. Many of the negatives are deteriorating nitrate and safety based, and prints will be made and the unstable negatives discarded.
