Annie Ruth Maynor Woods (1918-2003) was a native of Cumberland County, N.C. An African
American author, Ms. Woods produced a body of creative works consisting of manuscripts
and typescripts, and including poems, plays, dramatic skits, shorts stories, essays,
novels, and other literary forms; and songs and poems, circa 1950-2002.
