Abstract
Kathy Mitchell was the conservation horticulturalist for the North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island and a former employee of the Elizabethan Gardens. From 1997 to 2000, she assisted the Elizabethan Gardens with several projects related to special planting areas, including the rose garden, herb garden, and perennial border. This collection contains Mitchell's design plans, notes, and correspondence related to those projects.
